Developed for Deloitte, this interactive system simulates the process of receiving government grants and incentives, helping businesses quickly understand their eligibility and the expected support amount. The tool offers an intuitive user experience, tailored to different sectors and grant types, with a modern, accessible interface that simplifies complex information into clear, actionable insights.

The UX Process

Upon entering the simulator, the business owner sees a short explanation of the tool’s purpose and how to use it. The tone is friendly and accessible, even for
non-tech-savvy users.

Clear and Welcoming Intro Screen

We chose to design most of the simulator’s questions as Yes/No to simplify the response process, minimize the amount of information required from the user, and reduce the likelihood of drop-offs during the flow.

Simplicity That Prevents Drop-Offs

After logging in, the business owner is guided through a series of questions designed to collect details about their business activity, annual turnover, and relevant eligibility criteria.

Personalized Filtering

At the end of the process, the system presents the incentives relevant to the client and offers our support in guiding them through the application process. Based on user interviews, we learned that trust grows when users can try the questionnaire without committing to precise details upfront. Therefore, we added a “Try Again” option on the final screen, allowing them to adjust answers and get updated results without logging in again.

User Interface (UI) Design Process

The UI design followed Deloitte’s recognizable visual language – clean, precise, and rooted in professionalism and trust. A dedicated Design System was created for this project, featuring a color palette where blue tones play a central role, combined with additional Deloitte brand colors to convey credibility, responsibility, and innovation.

To enhance engagement, small, context-relevant images and icons were added alongside certain questions, providing visual cues without overwhelming the experience. The focus remained on a minimal, aesthetic, and professional look, with clear typography, balanced spacing, and a thoughtful ratio between text and visuals.
